Human Resources Assistant

This role requires an enthusiastic, well-organised individual with a warm and welcoming nature to assist the Human Resources Manager by undertaking core HR activities and tasks to ensure an effective HR service is provided.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a confidential busy office environment, have excellent communication skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft office. A flexible approach to work is essential, along with an ability to work with tact, discretion and diplomacy at all times.
Ideally the post holder will work all-year-round, 28 hours per week, however, we are receptive to exploring a different working pattern for the right candidate.

Digital Marketing Apprentice
Reporting to the Head of External Relations, and supported by our experienced Marketing and Communications Manager, the successful candidate will have the ambition and academic ability to work towards a Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship at Bournemouth & Poole College.
A keen interest in digital marketing and knowledge of social media are highly desirable; being able to work with a high degree of accuracy with attention to detail and strong English skills are essential for this role.
The successful candidate will be friendly and approachable, with a good level of confidence, and willing to adapt to the changing demands of school life and to the challenges of working in a busy department.
This position is initially offered on an 18 month fixed term contract, working Monday to Friday with one day attendance at college during college operating times.
Permanent, part time
Required to work as part of our friendly and hard-working team from the beginning of November 2021.
You will be required to work 20 hours per week for 38 weeks per year, weekday mornings with a 7:00am start and some Saturday mornings on a rota. Some cleaning experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

Assistant Director of Music
To commence September 2021
Are you an enthusiastic and engaging individual with a clear love of music; an accomplished keyboard player, willing and able to assist in the running of our thriving and inspirational music department?
The successful candidate will be able to teach GCSE and A Level Music, and preferably BTEC Level 3 Music Technology. Some previous experience of running and conducting orchestras, ensembles or choirs is essential, along with an ability to encourage and enthuse young people in their music making.
You will teach approximately 28 lessons per week and be involved in group rehearsals and concerts which will involve some evening work. You will also be able to contribute to the wider life of Clayesmore through sport, CCF or the LEX programme.
We would welcome applications from recent graduates or those who have just completed a PGCE, and accommodation may be available for the successful candidate.

Casual, term time and holidays
We are looking for experienced Swimming Teachers with a minimum Level 2 Swimming qualification to help facilitate our upcoming summer holiday swimming programme and term time lessons from September 2021.
The successful candidates will ideally have at least one year’s experience of teaching swimming and an enthusiasm for working with children and young people.
