We require an inspiring and dynamic teacher with a real passion for communicating the joy and wonder of science to young people. Applicants should be able to teach two or three sciences to GCSE.

Catering Assistants

Part time, 33 weeks per year

Clayesmore has an exciting opportunity for Catering Assistants to join our team of talented and experienced staff in the heart of Dorset. Clayesmore prides itself in providing a comprehensive, in-house fresh food service to its pupils and staff.

The successful candidates will be well presented and hard-working team players with a good sense of humour. Experience within the catering trade would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

Hours will be 4:00pm -7:00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, and/or 11.30am – 7:00pm on Saturdays, 25 weeks per year.

Graduate Assistants (Outdoor Education)

To commence September 2021

An enthusiastic and committed Graduate Assistant, with Outdoor Education qualifications or degree, is required for our Senior School on a one year contract.  You will play a full and active role in delivering our exciting new LEX programme.  The successful candidate will also provide support for pupils’ games, administrative support, pastoral care for our boarders and occasional classroom cover and, where appropriate, may be offered some teaching opportunities. This position would suit a recent graduate looking for experience prior to teacher training or seeking a short-term post prior to embarking on another career path.  This is a live-in position that will involve some evening and weekend work within the boarding house.

Casual Minibus Drivers

To commence as soon as possible

An exciting opportunity exists for friendly and helpful drivers to join our excellent team providing the safe and caring transport of our pupils to and from school and to fixtures and events.

A knowledge of the local area and experience of driving large vehicles would be preferable but driver training will be provided.

The successful candidates will have a clean driving licence with D1 category and will be required to undertake a full driving assessment.

As this role requires some short notice call outs, it is desirable that successful candidates will live no more than 20 minutes journey time from Clayesmore School.
