The school day starts at 8.30am when pupils attend House Lines (registration) and Tutorial sessions. The day ends at about 5.20pm most days (there are sport fixtures on Thursday afternoons). There are no academic lessons on Saturday but there is a requirement to attend LEX for 16 Saturdays each year.

On the 16 LEX Saturdays there is an exciting programme of activities and modules related to personal development, the CCF meets on a Saturday, and in the afternoon there are always sports fixtures with many teams playing other schools.

Students are welcome to attend up to 6 more Saturdays and on these FLEX Saturdays a different programme is in place which includes a wide range of different activities.

Sundays, for boarders and day students if they wish, bring different options. Many boarders choose to remain at school on a Saturday night and on a Sunday. However, the flexibility of the programme allows families to spend time together on weekends without the requirement of attending full Saturday school every week.

Day and boarding pupils use their Houses during the day for break and rest times, with Common Rooms and the expansive grounds being the focus of social gatherings with friends.

Senior school days are busy and happy. Pupils benefit from a balance of academic, outdoor and co-curricular lessons which helps them remain engaged and focused throughout their school days.
