The spiritual life of Clayesmore

The Chapel is here to help pupils and staff flourish at school, and in their future lives. But it also stands as a visible reminder that who we are, our hearts and our character, is of more importance than anything we achieve or win.

Each week there are house or year group services. There are classes for those who want to be confirmed and the service itself is held in the chapel in the summer term. 

Our Chaplain is available to pupils and their families to provide comfort, guidance and support at difficult times or a sympathetic ear when pupils feel they need someone to talk to. The school has a Christian ethos but welcomes pupils of all faiths and worldviews.
