Book A Visit

Sixth

Sixth

Choosing Clayesmore Sixth Form means choosing a vibrant educational environment, offering a wide choice of subjects, and the opportunity to participate in an impressive range of co-curricular experiences to help you successfully achieve your goals.

When you join Clayesmore's Sixth Form, you'll benefit from small class sizes where you can excel in your chosen subjects. You'll also be in an environment where you can develop essential life skills so you can thrive beyond school. There are plenty of opportunities to develop your aptitude and talents in leadership, drama, music and art as well as participate in work placements to get 'real life' experience. LEX will also support your development to succeed as a young adult.

It's not all work though! The Sixth Form offers plenty of social opportunities including dinners and balls, which culminate in the greatly anticipated Valedictory events at the end of Year 13 for our Leavers where they celebrate their successes.

New students to the Sixth Form will be welcomed warmly by the current pupils who are always delighted to have new friends to make and a larger intake into Year 12 means you won't be the only new face to Sixth Form.

Find out more by arranging a visit and a meeting with the Head and Head of Sixth Form. You can also attend our Sixth Form Information Day which we hold each October.

Clayesmore Governors and Staff

Our Governors and Staff

Clayesmore’s affairs are governed by the Council of Clayesmore, chaired, at the present time by Mrs Rosie Stiven.

The governors represent, between them, a considerable range of skills, interests, professions and backgrounds and include at the present time a number who are former pupils and parents. They all share a very deep commitment to the wellbeing of Clayesmore, its pupils, its staff, and its future. The full Council meets every term as do all its sub-committees.
