Our Vision

Clayesmore is committed to becoming a sustainable centre for educational excellence. We want to be widely recognised as an innovative school which actively promotes the personal development of pupils in an inclusive and stimulating environment. Clayesmore students will have a strong sense of ethical, moral, environmental and social responsibility and will go on to become people who will make a positive impact on the lives of others.

We take the time to get to know each and every one of our pupils, so we can support, guide and challenge them in equal measure.  Our aim is that they leave Clayesmore having discovered their passion and with the brightest path ahead of them. 

Founder, Lex Devine's guiding principle to offer ‘an all-round education’ is as relevant today, as it was 125 years ago.  Devine understood the importance of a traditional academic education but he also recognised that it needed to be coupled with a strong foundation of values and attitudes. That ethos remains at the heart of a Clayesmore education today.
