Set in beautiful surroundings, with sights of Hambledon Hill, Clayesmore really is a special place.
Owned and run by Clayesmore School, our primary users are the school’s pupils and staff. We are keen to play our part in the community by providing access opportunities, for the public, to utilise the sports centres facilities. We are a small and friendly dual use centre that aims to provide facilities and classes to all, regardless of your ability level or personal aims.
The Sports Centre is open daily during school holidays and term time:
- Monday, Tuesday & Friday: 0730 - 21-30
- Wednesday & Thursday: 0730 - 2130 (0630 opening during Clayesmore term)
- Saturday: 0830 - 2000
- Sunday: 0830 - 2000
The sports centre facilities are available on a pay-as-you-go or membership basis. Please contact us to find out which would work out best for you! If you are not sure you are ready to commit to an annual subscription, we periodically offer promotions at competitive prices. This is to allow current and new users to experience our facilities with all the standard privileges that a member would receive.

- General Activity room – “Forum”
- 2 Squash Courts
- Full size Astro Pitch
- Tennis Courts (during the summer)
- 25m x 4 lane Swimming Pool
We have an extensive range of classes and courses such as Group Exercise, Swimming, Kayaking and Football, all scheduled to cater for today’s busy lifestyles. No matter what your fitness/skill level you'll be in expert hands with our qualified and motivated staff that will guide you through and make you feel at ease. Each class is designed to challenge and motivate, providing you with the tools to reach your goals and improve your sense of well being.
