Beyond the Classroom

Learning at Clayesmore extends far beyond the classroom. Our varied programme of co-curricular activities encourages children to discover new interests, develop confidence and enjoy new experiences in a fun and supportive environment.

Regular Forest School sessions inspire curiosity, resilience and a love of the natural world, while gardening gives children the opportunity to nurture plants, understand where food comes from and develop a sense of responsibility. Weekly swimming lessons help children build confidence in the water and develop an important life skill from an early age.

Sport plays an important role in Pre-Prep life, with children enjoying a wide range of activities that develop teamwork, coordination and a lifelong love of being active. Whether running across our beautiful grounds, taking part in team games or celebrating personal achievements, every child is encouraged to have a go and enjoy the experience.

These enriching opportunities complement our academic curriculum, helping children grow into confident, capable and well-rounded young people with a genuine enthusiasm for learning and life.
