The new school year got off to a fantastic start this week, with boarders returning on Sunday and the whole school community back together on Monday, ready for an exciting year ahead.
Monday morning we came together with a whole-school assembly, where students and staff came together to welcome our new Head, Rob Lane. In his first address to the school, Mr Lane shared some valuable advice for the year ahead and introduced a number of collective goals for the school community. His message provided plenty of encouragement and set an upbeat and positive tone for what promises to be a very successful year.
The assembly also marked an important moment for our new prefect team, as the prefects were officially sworn in and took on their new responsibilities. We look forward to seeing them lead by example, support their fellow students and make a positive contribution to school life throughout the year.
Following the assembly, students wasted no time getting back into the rhythm of school life and headed straight into their lessons. It was great to see classrooms and corridors once again full of energy, enthusiasm and the excitement of a new beginning.
With a new Head, a new prefect team and a whole year of opportunities ahead, there is plenty to look forward to. We wish all our students and staff a happy, productive and successful year, and we can’t wait to see what we can achieve together!
