It has been a busy start to the term for Clayesmore Theatre, with students already embarking on an exciting new film project.
Our student filmmakers Alex (Year 12), Finn (Year 10) and the rest of their production crew have begun work on an ambitious new film, bringing together their creativity, technical skills and enthusiasm for storytelling.
The film follows a student who accidentally summons a spirit, only to find themselves haunted by the mysterious presence. With plenty of scope for suspense and creativity, the project promises to be an exciting challenge for the team as they develop the story from an initial idea through to a finished production.
There is much more to filmmaking than simply being in front of the camera, and the project will give students the opportunity to explore a wide range of skills behind the scenes as well as on screen. From developing the storyline and planning scenes to filming, production and the technical aspects of creating a finished film, the students will be involved throughout the creative process.
Production is set to continue throughout the rest of the year, giving the team plenty of time to develop their ideas and bring their vision to life. With such an ambitious project ahead of them, they certainly have plenty of work to do, but we are excited to see how the film develops over the coming months.
We look forward to following the progress of the project and seeing the finished film when it is complete. Well done to Alex, Finn and the whole crew for getting the project underway — we can’t wait to see what they create!
