Clayesmore’s U14 netball team has secured an outstanding third-place finish in a highly competitive tournament, earning qualification for the County Finals next month!
Seven schools competed in the tournament, with the girls winning all but two matches against the teams that finished above them.
This achievement is particularly special, as Clayesmore last qualified for the Netball County Finals five years ago, with our current Year 13 leavers representing the school on that occasion. The team now has an exciting opportunity to follow in their footsteps and represent Clayesmore at county level.
Miss Cheverton and Mrs Chisholm are incredibly proud of the girls’ performances throughout the tournament. Their excellent team spirit, grit and determination were evident throughout, and they thoroughly deserve this success.
Congratulations to the whole team on a fantastic achievement. We look forward to cheering them on at the County Finals next month!
