What a wonderful morning we had at the Prep School with author Joffre White!
Joffre inspired pupils with his stories and encouraged everyone to discover the books and stories that they love to read. His enthusiasm for reading was infectious, and pupils were captivated as he shared his experiences as an author.
The morning finished with an exciting creative writing session for Years 5 and 6. Joffre challenged the pupils to unleash their imaginations and get their ideas down on paper. Before long, the Prep Studio was buzzing with creativity, with ideas flying around the room and everyone busy writing.
Joffre White is a South West-based author who is passionate about reading and a strong supporter of school libraries. He has published several books for children and teenagers and is dedicated to encouraging young people to discover the joy of reading and writing.
It was a fantastic morning of storytelling, creativity and inspiration, and we hope Joffre has left our pupils feeling excited to pick up a book, create their own stories and let their imaginations take flight!
