OPEN MORNING - ALL WELCOME

Saturday 10th Match, 10am - 12.30pm Come and see the school in action

I have always believed that the best piece of advice I can give parents who are choosing a school for their son or daughter is to trust their instincts.

While it is true that we have superb facilities, many of which are shared with our Senior School, and we have embarked on a very exciting programme of redevelopment across the Prep School, it is the general feel of a place and its unique ambience that plays the largest part in the decision making process.

Here, it is the living and playing together, the laughter, the air of purpose, and the warmth of the relationship between the children and adults that most strikes our visitors. And it is this harmonious atmosphere that feeds into our belief that if children are happy and confident, then they will learn happily and confidently, and ultimately make a success of themselves. Quite simply, we believe that children must firstly be given the chance truly to experience childhood and all its wonders, and that education naturally follows. It is this that develops a fully-rounded person.

Generations of parents have delighted in the fun and real sense of achievement their children have experienced while at Clayesmore Prep. When you visit, I hope you will see that our girls and boys are just right. Above all they are happy but they are also articulate, engaging, courteous, caring individuals who are developing their self-confidence.

I am convinced that the Clayesmore experience is a unique one that will set your son or daughter up for life – so do come and see me when you can. I shall look forward to it.
