The Inspired Learning Group (ILG) Immersion courses are available at ILG schools, Clayesmore School, Shebbear College, Saint Felix School and at St Francis College (girls only) for students aged 10-18.

Our courses are uniquely designed for international students to help them quickly adapt to the English language and British culture. These courses focus on intensive language learning, allowing students to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in real-life contexts. Beyond academics, students engage in cultural activities, helping them understand British customs and traditions. This immersive experience boosts confidence, enhances communication skills, and eases integration into regular school life. It also helps students make lasting friendships with peers from diverse backgrounds, offering a broader worldview and preparing them for future academic and professional success.

Our immersion courses last from 1 week to several weeks and can be booked by both individual families, schools visiting from abroad and by agents. As well as being a wonderful experience, immersion weeks also provide a perfect way to experience our schools before deciding whether to study here full time.
