Fast-Track Admissions Process
1. Initial Enquiry
Contact our Admissions team and, if possible, provide your child’s most recent school report or a Head’s reference. This helps us understand your child’s academic background and enables us to move the process forward quickly.
2. Visit or Online Meeting
We will arrange a convenient time to visit the school or meet with you online if you are relocating from further away. This gives you the opportunity to:
- meet key staff
- see the school environment
- ask any questions about the transition.
3. Entrance Assessments (if required)
Students joining Years 7–9 are usually asked to complete short assessments in:
- English
- Mathematics
Students joining Year 10 will also complete an assessment in Science. These can be:
- taken during your school visit, or
- completed at home via secure online links.
In some cases, if school reports and references are satisfactory, formal entrance assessments may not be required.
4. Taster Day
Where possible, students joining Reception to Year 8 will be invited to attend a taster day. This allows them to:
- experience a typical school day
- meet future classmates
- become familiar with the school environment.
Taster days can often be incorporated into your visit or arranged for a suitable alternative date.
5. Registration and Offer
If you wish to proceed, you will be asked to register your child formally. Once reports, references and assessments (if required) have been reviewed, we will confirm our decision and make a formal offer of a place.
6. Starting at the School
Once the offer is accepted and the deposit is paid, your child can begin their transition into the school.
