Year 2 spread joy and festive spirit to care home residents

Year 2 visited the residents of Nazareth Lodge in Sturminster Newton on 1 December and received a very warm welcome. As it was time to kick off the festive season, the children began by performing a selection of songs from their Christmas Play.

Afterwards, everyone settled down to a craft activity making Christmas puddings from card and scrunched up tissue paper, with the children and residents working in pairs. It was lovely to see two generations come together to craft and natter.

This visit started the Pre-Prep yule tide in earnest, with this week and next seeing the Crib Service and Christmas Play, as well as a host of other festive events.
