The Cheese Course

A dedicated group of cheese enthusiasts gathered at school last Sunday to take their delight in dairy a step further: by learning to make the stuff themselves.

Under the expert guidance of course leaders, Jill and Charles Gannon of Artisan Country Crafts, the fortunate few, fired up by coffee and Bourbon creams, were taught how to make goat’s cheese and mozzarella and managed to make quite a lot of mess in the process. Great fun was had by all, and everyone managed to take some wares home at the end of the morning’s course.
