Stephen Levinson RIP

Stephen was at Clayesmore from 1962 to 1967 and on leaving pursued a highly successful career as a solicitor, specialising in employment law.  He worked initially for Paisners in the City, then for a number of other well-known law firms, and became a leading authority in his area of practice.  Latterly Stephen had been working as a commercial and workplace mediator.

Stephen’s contribution to Clayesmore was huge, while at school and after. He was on the OC Society committee for many years, involved in the creation of The Spinney Memorial Trust and served on the board of governors, where he became chair of the Finance and General Purposes Committee.

Stephen was a longstanding supporter of Cormorants cricket and OC activities generally.  We send our deepest condolences to Penny and children, Simon and Amy, also to Stephen’s brother and fellow OC, Andrew. Stephen will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

A full obituary will follow.
