Making Scrub Bags for Local NHS

Clayesmore’s Charity Committee have teamed up with the Shaftesbury Scrub Hub to help make much needed scrub bags for Shaftesbury’s Health and Social Care workers; in order to help meet some of the needs of the local hospital, care homes and Blackmore Vale Partnership.

If you would like to volunteer to make some items for the Scrub Hub, you can download the scrub bag pattern here.

Once items have been completed, they can be taken to the  the Shaftesbury Scrub Hub at the Guildhall in Shaftesbury on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 11:00 – 13:00.

Those who live further afield might want to seek out a local ‘scrub hub’, who would welcome your donated items.

If you would like to get involved, but are unable to drop off the item to Shaftesbury, you can send an e-mail to Howard Smith hsmith@clayesmore.com who will be able to provide a postal address.

There are also several other patterns to download should you wish to be more adventurous with your sewing skills!
