We're on the lookout for recent leavers to help with a very special day we are running for our Lower Sixth students on Saturday 17 March 2018, called Back to the Future Day.
This is an opportunity for our current Lower Sixth, about to make plans for their lives, post-18, to meet and chat to Old Clayesmorians. The premise for the morning is that it is an opportunity for you, as an OC now graduated, in employment or running your own business, to talk to our students with the focus on: “How would you now advise your 17 year old self?” Just like the cult 1980s film, “Back to the Future”, but no DeLorean, I am afraid.
Can you help? Are you able to give up a morning of your time to meet up with students and old friends, as well as reminisce about your own school days? The legendary Clayesmore lunch will be provided (free of charge, of course), and you’ll be able to meet up with staff who are still here!
We would love to see you and find out what you have been doing since leaving Clayesmore and would be interested to hear how you feel you may be able contribute to the morning.
Furthermore, the following day we are holding a reunion for the 2000s decade leavers: there will be hockey and netball matches (OCs vs the School), lunch, tea, loads of photos and other archive material to look through and a chance to bump into people you’ve possibly not seen for a while. And the Cookes are coming! So why not make a weekend of it?
We really look forward to you getting in touch and seeing you again.
