OCs take up the Paris challenge

Two former pupils of Clayesmore Prep School have featured in today’s news after following in the footsteps of their grandfather.

Simon and Daniel Maughan emulated a historic trip from Marble Arch to Paris, made by Air Vice-Marshal Charles Maughan in 1959, but rather than use his race-winning method of motorbike, helicopter then plane, his grandsons cycled, all the while raising money for the RAF Benevolent Fund.
