OC student’s research project becomes a reality

Rob Harris (Gate, 2014), as part of his FdSc in Agriculture at Harper Adams, has taken on work at Beeswax Dyson Farming, Sir James Dyson’s substantial sustainable farming interest, based in Norfolk.

As part of Rob’s year-long placement there, he had to complete a professional project and he embarked on one which would tackle the company’s mission to harness, store and use gas which had not been utilised by its anaerobic digester.

Not only did he succeed in doing this but the company went on to invest in works to fulfil the potential outlined in Rob’s report. The result? It is now returning “a double digit payback and will allow further development of the activity” at the plant.

What a great result! Read more here.
