Maths Challenge Success

Clayesmore’s Sixth Form mathematicians are celebrating success in the Senior Maths Challenge. This is an individual competition, run by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust, which is open to all students taking A-Level Maths in Years 12 and 13 in the UK.

Particular congratulations go to Arthur in Year 12 who achieved a gold certificate (and also certificates for best in year and best in school). Arthur has been invited to sit the next paper (Senior Kangaroo) in December in which the top 6,600 of students nationally compete. Silver certificates were achieved by Matthew C (Best in Year 13), Ash (Year 13) and Laurence (Year 12) and there were bronze certificates for Theo, Bri and Tom (all in Year 13) and Nikita, Jack, Jacob, Sam, Katie and Olivia C in Year 12. Congratulations to everyone who took part.
