IAPS Trampolining Competition 2019

IAPS Trampolining

Five girls from Clayesmore Prep School travelled to the Royal Russell School in London, to participate in the 2019 IAPS Trampolining Championships last week. The IAPS trampolining event attracts a very high standard of entrants, many of whom compete on the National Trampoline pathway.

The girls had an excellent day competing in a high pressurised environment, all giving their best and doing the school proud. Congratulations to Sophia who finished 3rd in the U11 competition which consisted of 54 girls.

Also well done to Isabelle who missed out on a medal by 0.1 of a mark in the U13 competition.

Annabel found the courage to compete in her first ever Trampolining competition and performed well in the U11 category. Harriet, who started in the same year group, improved her position by 19 places compared to last year! And Elodie showed great consistency in her two routines in the U13 competition.

Mr Manley and Miss Scholz would like to thank the girls for their dedication and perseverance for all their early morning sessions since January. Congratulations to everyone involved.
