Hats off to Pre-Prep summer performance

Clayesmore Pre-Prep & Nursery summer performance Hats Off

‘Hats Off’ was the farm-themed summer performance from Clayesmore Pre-Prep and Nursery this year, an amusing tale told by our able Year 2 narrators, about a rather confused pony called Apple, who can’t work out which of the seasons to wear her beautiful summer bonnet. It takes Einstein the cow and Cuddles the sheep to help her through her dilemma, with a mad puppy, a hungry goat, some Chilly chickens and the crazy Party pigs all assisting in their own way.

All of the children in Nursery and Pre-Prep had parts to play and all sang the wonderful songs coached by the ever brilliant Prep Music teacher, Mrs Judy Coplan. The band accompanied the performance with Mr Rigby on percussion and Mr Walker on the guitar. Mrs Charlotte Townsend, Head of Pre-Prep and Nursery, said: “Despite a rather stressful dress rehearsal, we pulled it off in the end and managed to have lots of fun!”
