Personal Growth and Enrichment In addition the programme will encourage the younger learners to fully engage with Youth TED talks covering Youth Leadership and how young people can change the world. These talks will then be used to develop speaking and presentation skills, which will culminate in a final Presentation Evening where we will hear from all the students of their work from the week. This presentation will be supplemented by making a video diary of their week, enjoying a music based project and being immersed within the boarding life of Clayesmore. Boarding provides a time for younger students to develop their indepence and to make long lasting friendships beyond their established peers. We will use Outdoor Education games to help with team building, learning one’s own strengths and weaknesses in a supportive and fun environment. Of course there will also be an opportunity for a fire pit including marshmallows and smoors (a staple of every child’s fireside snacking!).
