Diamond Buttons and Jemima take the British Dressage Championship crown

Year 10 pupil, Jemima, is celebrating her win of the FEI Children on Horses title, at this summer’s Sheepgate British Dressage Under 25s Championships, held over the course of a week in Lincolnshire at the end of August. Competition on Diamond Buttons, she scored 63.75%, having learned pirouettes and half passes for the occasion. As part of the week she also jumped up two levels to compete with the FEI pony team test on the stallion, Bernwode Nirvana, her first practise at the test she hopes to perform internationally one day. The pair were placed tenth in their challenge competition which involved a medium test and freestyle to music.

Jemima is now looking forward to the finals of the British Dressage area festivals at prelim and novice levels in October. Congratulations from all of us at Clayesmore.
