Clayesmore’s biathletes excel at South West Schools Competition

Director of Swimming, Ali Pickford, writes:

“A joint Prep and Senior team from Clayesmore competed at the South West Schools Biathlon on Sunday 15 October. Held at the University of Bath Sports Village, this was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to compete at outstanding facilities, swimming in a 50m 8 lane pool and running on an outdoor all weather athletics track.

The results from the day are just outstanding at this huge event. Regional rounds have been running across the country and the results will be collated and competitors ranked. Qualifiers will then compete at the National Schools Biathlon to be held at Crystal Palace in March 2018 and I am confident that many of our pupils will qualify through this system. Congratulations to all.”
