A Choir of Angels spreads Christmas cheer

It was really beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in the final days of term last week, with the Pre-Prep & Nursery Crib service and the Nursery Christmas play.

The true meaning of the festive season was brought to life in the crib service through readings and music by our Pre-Prep children. Some of the children performed pieces they had learnt to play on the piano and xylophone, and all children, parents and teachers got to sing familiar carols together.

The next day it was the turn for our Nursery children to shine, as they performed a less traditional take on the Nativity story in the form of a mini-musical, Angel Express. It is about the heaven’s newspaper of the same name announcing that Jesus is about to be born, and the angels excitedly but hastily forming a choir to celebrate the arrival of the newborn King, but with not much time to spare before the very special event.

It was another cavalcade of cuteness all round, and a cheerful culmination of a busy and exciting term.
