SPANISH TRIP: Gatwick – British Airways is expecting a slight delay to the departure time at present.

FRENCH TRIP: EasyJet in Bristol – the flight is now showing as cancelled (9.20am). We are going to look into what we can arrange for tomorrow, Monday. More information will be posted here by 5pm today, Sunday.

Theatre students win places to study at Bristol Old Vic and RADA

Two Clayesmore students are celebrating this week having been offered unconditional places to study at top drama schools. Caitlin will study BA Production Arts (Stage and Screen) at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and Emily will study BA Technical Theatre and Stage Management at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA).


Jazzing things up at Ronnie Scott’s

Both an OC, Lauren Morgan (00 – 16) and a current Sixth Former, Jasmine, took to the stage at legendary London jazz club, Ronnie Scott’s, last week in celebration of International Women’s Day.


Year 10 History Students in Flanders Fields

An account of the Year 10 Battlefields trip which visits significant and moving sites of the First World War, such as war cemeteries, the Menin Gate war memorial and the Somme battlefields.


A world-famous Organist performs at Clayesmore

On Thursday, we were delighted to welcome the internationally renowned organ music virtuoso and composer, David Briggs, to Clayesmore. He performed works by Bach, Haydn, Franck, Vierne and Saint-Saëns, before entertaining the full Chapel with one of his trademark improvisations to a silent film.
