Ali Pickford’s Seahorse Swim success

Clayesmore’s Director of Swimming, Mrs Ali Pickford, set a great example for Clayesmore’s swim team at Sunday’s “Seahorse Swim” at Knoll Beach, Studland. This event was a 3.8km open water swim organised by the British Long Distance Swimming Association (BLDSA) in aid of The Seahorse Trust and Mrs Pickford has been training hard for the event over the last three months alongside the training sessions she has been running for Clayesmore’s swimmers.

Finishing 26th out of 81 competitors, she was also the tenth fastest lady and is an inspiration for the school’s strong swim team, and the Clayesmore Swim Club. Well done, Ali!
