Acrylic Taster Workshop

A splash of colour on a wintry day…

A number of lucky Society members gathered in the de Selincourt Room yesterday to enjoy a quiet morning of art.

Guided by local artist, Marilyn Allis, they were instructed in the use of acrylics and were each gently steered towards the creation of an individual masterpiece: a portrait of a hare.

It was a lovely way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday morning in the peace of the Main House (it’s half term!), everybody learned something new and all got to take the fruits of their labour home to show off to their families.

Keep an eye on the Clayesmore Society season booklet or the website for more courses and things to try.
