Boarding & Day

Boarding at the Clayesmore Sixth form offers a fantastic opportunity to experience life away from home in preparation for university. The whole environment is geared towards providing students with the right combination of private study bedrooms, work space and social areas so that they have a sense of independence but at the same time feel at home.

Day pupils take full advantage of all the facilities in the boarding house too and of course there is the main Sixth Form Common Room – affectionately known as ‘Platform 6’. This is the nerve centre for all aspects of socialising and partying, as well as a refuge at break time when hot sandwiches, drinks and snacks are available.
