The course is stimulating and interesting, and you will have an opportunity in the Sixth Form to take part in our long-running exchange to Düsseldorf and our annual U6th trip to Berlin to further your language skills.

The facilities and resources for learning languages at Clayesmore are excellent, with conversation lessons available with a native speaker, and a state-of-the-art multi-media language learning centre. The fluency you develop in the Sixth Form will enable you to study in a number of different European countries, should you wish to do so. It will also give you an advantage in the job market and may well lead to opportunities to work in German-speaking Europe. Germany is Britain’s most important trading partner in the world.
