Clayesmore confirmands at cathedral ceremony
In the magnificent and ancient setting of Salisbury Cathedral, twenty-two girls and boys from across the year groups were confirmed on Saturday by the Bishops of Salisbury and Sherborne and Honorary Assistant Bishop, the Right Revd David Hallatt. A-level Physicists visit CERN
During the last weekend of the Easter break eighteen A-level physicists flew to Geneva. 24 hours, 70 students, £4501
70 excited students from all 5 Houses gathered in the Sports Hall at 5pm one Saturday last term. Anticipation and the smell of clean t-shirts was in the air. The thought of grabbing power naps in a squash court seemed exciting – even if you had to share the space with 30 others. Busy term For CCF
The CCF had another productive Spring term which included Skill-at-Arms weekends, Flying with the RAF and Field Days to the Royal Armoured Corps at Bovington and the Royal Naval Air Station at Yeovilton. Sixth Form Show Jumper wins third place
Over the Easter holidays Clayesmore took part in an Inter Team & Individual Show Jumping competition organised by the Thomas Hardye School, this was held at Moreton Equestrian Centre near Dorchester.
