Music, Drama & Dance
Music is an important part of the learning experience for all of the children at Clayesmore. As well as developing musical skills and understanding, the children learn to express themselves, work co-operatively and have fun! Creative Dance, and Ballet are also weekly fixtures.
The children have frequent opportunities to show off their talents to an audience. Apart from individual performances at assembly times, families are invited in to share Harvest Festival and a Christmas Crib service in the Chapel, and a Christmas Production in the Theatre, a Spring Concert and our famous Annual Circus in the Big Top!
For our budding musicians who want more, there are after school groups and the opportunity to have individual instrumental lessons, piano and recorder being the most popular at this age.
