Day Pupils
Day and boarding pupils share the same schedule during the day and can also take advantage of occasional boarding if a bed is available.
The School day begins at 8.20am and runs through until 5.15pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; from 8.20 am until 3.30 pm on Wednesdays and from 8.20 pm until 12.30 pm on Saturdays. (Year 3 children do not attend school on Saturday). By arrangement, day pupils may stay later for supper and prep. All pupils have lunch provided for them.
In order to help day pupils get to school, Clayesmore operates a fleet of its own mini-buses serving an extensive area including the major conurbations of Bournemouth, Poole, Dorchester, and Salisbury as well as the many outlying villages and the towns of Blandford and Shaftesbury.
