The Big Schools' Birdwatch
Friday 27th January saw the Nursery and Pre-Prep participate in the Big Schools’ Birdwatch for the RSPB. Having previously set up a bird table with feeders and armed with identification sheets, the children anxiously waited to see which visitors would come.
Over the course of an hour chaffinches, robins and blue tits were just a few of the birds the children saw. All of the children were very excited at seeing the birds and it provided a good opportunity to reinforce how important it is to provide food for these animals during the winter months.
